Welcome to the Asian & Pacific Islander Student Center (APISC)
Near the entrance of the APISC there is a beautiful garden with roses and flowers that you can enjoy.

Once you have entered you will be in the lounge area where you can sit down with friends, meet new people, eat your lunch, study & conduct research.
-There are some comfortable couches that you can sit.

Once you come in, on your left hand side there is a huge artistic mural that depicts the struggles of Asian Pacific Americans.

On your right hand side, after you enter, there is the staff area. That’s US!
-You are more than welcome to come and talk to us regarding school or personal problems

In the lounge area near the upper right corner there are four functional computers that you can use for email, research, homework, etc.
-If you ever need to print anything we also have a functional printer, it is FREE to print with your own paper or 5 cents a page.

Let me tell you a secret, friend. See there is a conference room where you can sit and do what you need to do in tranquility. There is a big white board so if you need to use it to help you understand something then that’s what it’s there for.
-Can’t find a place where you and your classmates can meet up for a study session or a group project? Talk to one of the APISC staff and we will hook you up with a time where you can reserve the conference room and do what you need to do.
-While in your group meeting if you need to watch a DVD or video and your laptop isn’t big enough for everyone, then check out the TV that we have. It comes with a DVD and VHS player.
Need a job or you just want to be informed of what’s going on at Cal Poly Pomona? Come on down to the APISC. We have 3 bulletin boards where you can see what is going on at your school, and if you need to post something just talk to us and we will help you.

Hungry? Why wait? Come to the APISC! We have a kitchenette with a microwave, toaster oven, toaster, coffee maker, some utensils, and napkins.
