Lunar New Year Celebration (Winter Quarter)

Chinese, Koreans, Vietnamese, Tibetans and Mongolians celebrate the New Year in either January or February depending on the lunar calendar. The New Year symbolizes a new start when people clean out their homes and pay old debts to bring in a prosperous and healthy new year. The APISC, along with student and other campus organizations, celebrates with food, arts and crafts, and performances.
