Children’s Center Hours & Location

Our Hours Operation

The Children's Center is open:  Monday through Friday,  7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (246 Days Open)
  NOTE:  During the summer we are open:  Monday through  Friday, 6:45 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.

Our Center Location

The Children’s Center is located in building 116.  The entrance is located off Eucalyptus Lane.  The building is next to parking lot G and is behind the Bookstore.  There are several 15 minute loading and unloading parking spaces designated for the Children’s Center Only.

Directions to Our Center

The map below provides freeway directions  to the Children’s Center. Heading north on University Drive turn right onto Eucalyptus Lane and head down the street and you will see the center on the right hand side. Heading south on University Drive turn left on Eucalyptus Lane and you will see the center on the right hand side. 

BY SHUTTLE:
There are no Shuttle Stops near the Children’s Center.

BY CAR:
Thirty-minute visitor parking is available near the building (in Parking Lot G) and 15 minute loading and unloading parking directly in front of the building. If you are a visitor to campus, please stop by the Parking & Information Booth located just off Kellogg Drive to receive parking directions. Advise the staff if you are here to visit The Children’s Center in Building 116.  Unless directed otherwise, parking is generally available in Lots G. You can also visit any yellow parking permit dispenser to receive a day parking permit. Metered parking is available along the loop in front of the CLA building that travels around Voorhis Alumni Park.

BY BICYCLE:
There are no bike racks available in front of building 116. There is a bike rack located by the back of building 66, the Bookstore, which faces the Children’s Center.

Driving Directions to Cal Poly Pomona

From Los Angeles:

Take the 10 freeway EAST and exit at Kellogg Drive.  The ramp will transition on to Kellogg Drive.  You should be on the left side of the large electronic marquee that welcomes visitors. Follow Kellogg Drive all the way to Red Gum lane. At Red Gum Lane make a left turn. At the stop sign make a right and go under the bridge. After you pass the bridge, we are located in your left hand side.

From Orange County:

Take the 57 freeway NORTH to Temple Avenue and exit north (left-hand turn) to the campus.  Temple will go down the hill. Stay on Temple until the large electronic marquee that welcomes visitors at South Campus Drive.  Turn right on South Campus Drive, left on Kellogg Drive, and turn right when you see Red Gum Lane. At the stop sign make a right and go under the bridge. After you pass the bridge, we are located in your left hand side.

From The Inland Empire:

Take the 10 freeway WEST and exit at Kellogg Drive.  Stay in your left lane, you should be on the left side of the large electronic marquee that welcomes visitors.  Follow Kellogg Drive all the way to Red Gum lane. At Red Gum Lane make a left turn. At the stop sign make a right and go under the bridge. After you pass the bridge, we are located in your left hand side.

From the Pasadena area:

Take the 210 freeway EAST to 57 Freeway SOUTH. Exit on Temple Avenue and turn north (right-hand turn) to the campus.  Temple will go down the hill. Stay on Temple until the large electronic marquee that welcomes visitors at South Campus Drive.  Turn right on South Campus Drive, left on Kellogg Drive, and turn right when you see Red Gum Lane. At the stop sign make a right and go under the bridge. After you pass the bridge, we are located in your left hand side.
