What is FYE?

FYE stands for First Year Experience!  It is a new and exciting track within SDLI (Student Development & Leadership Institute) that offers specialized opportunities for first year students. 

FYE is one of many first-year initiatives taken on by Cal Poly Pomona to provide first year students with unique experiences to support their academic and personal development.  First year students can simply attend any of the following workshops listed below.  To receive a certificate of completion from the program, first year students must complete 7 workshops, including one core workshop (What is Leadership?) and 6 support workshops of their own choosing. 

Indicating your class standing as a freshman automatically enrolls you in the First Year Experience Leadership Track!!!
