Phyllis Barcenas was nominated and received the quarterly STAR award for the Summer 2008 term. She was selected by the Division of Student Affairs Cabinet as one of the 2008/09 STARs of the Year, along with Leonard Parks, University Housing Services. Both received their recognition at the annual DSA Picnic on June 16, 2009.
