Applicants with disabilities must follow regular University admission procedures and adhere to established application and documentation submission deadline dates. Please visit the University's Admissions page for detailed application information and updates. Once a student is accepted to the University, it is recommended that they register with the DRC by scheduling an intake appointment to determine eligibility and services.
If an applicant does not meet regular admission requirements due to a documented disability, the DRC is available for consultation to explore the possibility that s/he may be considered eligible as a Special Admit. A regular University application should be submitted by the appropriate deadline dates, and additional procedures must be followed in order for candidates to be considered eligible for admission under this category. The final determination will be made by the college which houses the applicant's major department. The process begins by contacting the DRC and forwarding the appropriate documentation. If you have already been denied admission to the University and would like to be considered for a Special Admit, please contact the DRC as soon as possible.
