WELCOME TO ENROLLMENT TECHNOLOGY & RESOURCES!Enrollment Technology & Resources (ETR) provides technology-related assistance that facilitates enrollment management and service to students. This assistance takes a wide range of forms such as providing imaging of student records through STARRS Singularity, optical character recognition (OCR) data extraction and uploads, systems analysis and development, programming, ad hoc report and query generation. Our services are provided to a diverse clientele, from departments such as the Office of Admissions and Outreach and the Registrar's Office, to faculty advisors, associate deans and other academic personnel. Through the delivery of systems, end user support and training, ETR is committed to developing solutions that help our clientele cultivate student learning and success, as well as manage the enrollment goals of the University.
In the Summer of 1998, Enrollment Services embarked on an ambitious project where Admissions' applications and transfer transcripts could electronically have their data extracted for upload into the campus' student information system. Additionally, the project sought to provide appropriate faculty and staff acess to student records from their desktop. That project has evolved into
STARRS Singularity, a valuable tool to be used in facilitating the support of student success. Today, faculty and staff access student records to facilitate student advising; extract and load academic course data to Degree Audit and pre-requisite checking, as well as handing a variety of other document archival needs.
