Tribal Dancers
Annual Powwow
The Annual Powwow is a large Native American festival that links the Cal Poly Pomona campus with the larger community and presents traditional songs and dances from many tribal areas. The event features prominent Native American artists, vendors and contemporary musicians.

This year our 9th Annual Cal Poly Pomona Pow Wow will be hosted by the Native American Student Center on November 17 from 10am-10pm Please visit http://www.dsa.csupomona.edu/nasc/powwow.asp for more information.

Native American Heritage Month
Native American Heritage Month is observed during the month of November and celebrates the rich cultural heritage and many accomplishments of Native American people. Events include: guest speakers, films, seminars, cultural demonstrations of music & dance, art exhibitions, theater performances and craft workshops.

California Indian Gathering
The California Indian Gathering is a biannual event in honor of California Indian nations. the unique elements of California Indian culture are featured and celebrated.

Native American Graduation Celebration
The Native American Graduation Celebration honors the achievements, leadership, activism and academic accomplishments of students and recognizes community members for their contribution to the greater Native American community.

Native American Alumni Chapter
The Native American Alumni Chapter is a new alumni organization formed to provide support, mentorship and advocacy to Native American students at Cal Poly Pomona.

Native American Task Force
The Native American Task Force is an advisory group that has been charged with providing direction and support for the development and implementation of goals and strategies that help increase the recruitment, retention and graduation rates of Native American students at Cal Poly Pomona. The intent of the task force is to create an environment of trust and mutual affirmation with the on campus and larger Native American
Communities.
