Volunteering
The Native American Student Center's mission statement emphasizes the traditional cultural values of commitment to community involvement. Native and non-native students and community members that are interested in Native American culture are encouraged to participate in NASC programs and services. Students have the opportunity to gain "hands-on" experience and develop skills that will be useful in any work environment. Volunteers and student workers may work directly with the coordinator on the development of special programs. Class credit and/or work hours for volunteers opportunities may be arranged with the NASC staff.
