Orientation Services Hours & Location

Our Office Hours

Our normal office hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm except for State Closure Dates.  Due to budget cuts to the California State University system, Cal Poly Pomona will observe 24 scheduled state closure dates beginning August 2009 and running through June 2010.  Click here to view the closure dates for the 2009-10 academic year. 

Our Office Location

Orientation Services is located in Building 26A. It is on the south west side of Building 26, the University Plaza. It is across from the Bronco Student Center, next to the University Library and across from parking lots D & C.

Directions to Our Office

The map below has a red arrow that indicates the main entrance to Orientation Services. There is a handicap accessible ramp that leads to the main entrance of the building.

During Orientation your parking is included in your Orientation fee. You must park in the Parking Structure, Building 106, and display the parking permit that was sent in your Orientation confirmation email. After parking check in for orientation at the Bronco Student Center, Building 35.

BY SHUTTLE:
Bronco Express Shuttles A stops in front of the grass hill leading to Building 26A. It is a short walk up the grass hill or around the grass hill to Building 26A.

BY CAR:
If you are a visitor to campus, please stop by the Parking & Information Booth located just off Kellogg Drive to receive parking directions.  Metered parking is available along the loop in front of the CLA that travels around Voorhis Alumni Park. Longer term parking is available in designated areas of Parking Lot D, F8, F4 or the Parking Structure with a valid permit ($5/day)*. Temporary permits can be obtained from the Parking & Information Booth or yellow parking permit dispensers located in the parking structure and Lot F4.  Driving instructions to campus appear below.

BY BICYCLE:
Building 26A does not have a bike rack. There is a bike rack located directly across the University Plaza in front of the Bronco Student Center and there is one located in front of building 66 for the convenience of bicyclists. Remember to lock your bike and ALWAYS wear your helmet!

Driving Directions to Cal Poly Pomona

From Los Angeles:

Take the 10 freeway EAST and exit at Kellogg Drive.  The ramp will transition on to Kellogg Drive.  You should be on the left side of the large electronic marquee that welcomes visitors. Follow Kellogg Drive and after the stop light turn right when you see the Visitor Parking Booth.

From Orange County:

Take the 57 freeway NORTH to Temple Avenue and exit north (left-hand turn) to the campus.  Temple will go down the hill. Stay on Temple until the large electronic marquee that welcomes visitors at South Campus Drive.  Turn right on South Campus Drive, left on Kellogg Drive, and turn left when you see the Visitor Parking Booth.

From The Inland Empire:

Take the 10 freeway WEST and exit at Kellogg Drive.  Stay in your left lane, you should be on the left side of the large electronic marquee that welcomes visitors.  Follow Kellogg Drive and after the stop light turn right when you see the Visitor Parking Booth.

From the Pasadena area:

Take the 210 freeway EAST to 57 Freeway SOUTH. Exit on Temple Avenue and turn north (right-hand turn) to the campus.  Temple will go down the hill. Stay on Temple until the large electronic marquee that welcomes visitors at South Campus Drive.  Turn right on South Campus Drive, left on Kellogg Drive, and turn left when you see the Visitor Parking Booth.
