As a member of Cal Poly Pomona's Employee (Faculty / Staff) Rideshare Program, you have the opportunity to participate in a variety of rideshare appreciation events and benefits.

Guaranteed Ride Home

What if you rideshare and then have to leave for an emergency? Or what if your rideshare partner has to leave early and happened to drive that day? Not to worry, we guarantee all our members a ride home. This benefit only applies to faculty and staff.

Preferred Parking

Faculty/staff parking spaces, as close as possible to the driver's building, are designated for carpools and vanpools. A Rideshare parking permit is issued allowing a carpool to park in a space designated "Rideshare Parking." The Rideshare parking permit is valid for six months and must be renewed each June and January.

Bronco Bucks

$1 a day: Two person carpools, vanpool

$2 a day: Three or more member carpool, walkers, bicyclists, vanpool drivers

This money will be applied to the Bronco Card on the Bronco Access date noted each month on the daily record. The scrip may be redeemed at any Pony Express, Campus Books, Campus Center, Bronco Bookstore, Stuffed Sub, Los Olivos, Kellogg West, Collins School of Hotel & Restaurant Management, ENV Cafe, Round Table Pizza, ASI Box Office, Agriscapes & CPP Farm Store, and the University Theatre.

Subsidized Train Passes

Monthly transit passes are reimbursed to a maximum of $90 per month. Reimbursement checks are issued on a quarterly basis. Employees can order Metrolink monthly passes through the Rideshare Office x4781, or x3233 (Employee Program).

Subsidized Bus Passes

Monthly bus passes are reimbursed to a maximum of $70 per month. Reimbursement checks are issued on a quarterly basis (Employee Program)

Check with the ASI Games Room Etc. for bus passes available for purchase.
