Metrolink Tickets for Students

One advantage of being a student is the wide variety of discounts you may receive – including purchasing a Metrolink at a discounted price from Rideshare.  Full-time students (12 units or 12 hours/wk) can receive a 25% discount off the regular adult fare from Rideshare for a monthly pass or 10-trip ticket.  Graduate students only need 6 units to qualify for the discount.

All passes are pre-ordered from the Rideshare office by the 15^th of each month for the following month.  Students must complete an application from Rideshare before a pass can be ordered.  A current Bronco ID is also required.   

Once the student places the order, they will be contacted by email or phone when their ticket arrives at the Rideshare office.  Students must pay for their ticket at the Cashier's office (Building 98), then bring their receipt to Rideshare. 

Tickets and passes are non-transferable or cannot be returned for a refund to Rideshare.  Students may not purchase tickets for friends or family members.  Also, discounted tickets or passes cannot be purchased at the Metrolink station.

Complimentary Tickets for Students
