Ramapo College of New Jersey: My NSE experience was one of the best things I ever did. My only regret was not being able to stay the whole year. I met a lot of amazing people, and I keep in touch with them since I have returned. (5,700 enrolled with 65% on campus)
Hunter College NYC: I loved being in a big city and actually living on Manhattan. It was great seeing so many Broadway shows. There was never a boring moment in the city. I wouldn’t change my experience for anything in the world!
University of Connecticut: Exchanging to UCONN allows a chance to experience the college that many people speak of (28,500 with 75% living on campus). Attending sporting events of the University are amazing; going wild with all the other students. I encourage everyone to go on exchange and discover who they really are.
University of Massachusetts Boston: It was one of the best experiences of my life. I learned to live on my own while adjusting to a new environment. I met a lot of great people. I wish I could have stayed the year. If you can take care of yourself and are looking for a whole new world, go to Boston, it’s a college town.
University of Massachusetts Amherst: This was the best experience of my academic and social life. I met a lot of people who have become life-long friends. There is always something to do on campus…no matter what you’re into, they have it! I worked for the Radio Station (student ran) as an entertainment reporter. Overall this was a good chance for me to grow as an individual by exposing myself to different people, cultures and surroundings (25,593 50% on campus).
University of the Virgin Islands: St. Croix made me realize just how much of a city girl I am. At first, I hated it; but it didn't take long for my opinions to change. I learned to appreciate things that I would never get in Los Angeles...like camping under the stars...in awe of how amazingly beautiful the simple things in life can be. There is also an abundance of knowlege and wisdom that people are eager to share. Things I have learned here, I would have never learned back home. And for that reason, this is a life-changing experience that I would not trade for the world.
