Minor Surgery


Your prepaid health fee covers you for any minor surgery performed at Student Health Services. You will be billed biopsy charges for any tissue sent to an outside lab. Some common procedures include:

• Removal of warts, moles, cysts or ingrown toenails
• Suturing (stitching) of wounds or minor lacerations
• Colposcopy (PDF file)- An examination of a woman's cervix using magnification.
