Take full advantage of the many recreational opportunities offered to Cal Poly Pomona residents. These include the Fitness Express center, an outdoor swimming pool, basketball/volleyball court, table game areas, television lounges and many other features that make living on campus easier, more convenient and enjoyable!
Fitness Express
UHS Fitness Express is a full body fitness facility that is free to students living in the residence halls. You'll find a wide variety of exercise options to help you achieve your personal fitness goals. Faculty and Staff are welcome to join by signing up at University Housing Services located at the La Cienega Center (Bldg. 59). The current non-resident fee is $25.00 per quarter.
Swimming PoolThe swimming pool is for UHS residents and their escorted guests only and is located in behind Alamitos Hall and adjacent to Aliso Hall. The pool is open from sunrise to 10:00 p.m. daily. The pool is maintained on a regular basis. There is no lifeguard on duty and swimming is at your own risk.
Basketball and Volleyball CourtThe basketball/volleyball court is located in the area behind Montecito and Alamitos Halls.
Table GamesEach residential building has an area for table games that residents can enjoy such as billiards, table tennis and foosball.
Television LoungesEach residential building has spacious and comfortable television lounges with satellite televison access where residents can relax and socialize with friends.
The Bronco Student CenterThe Bronco Student Center (or BSC) is a major spot for student gatherings and recreation on-campus. The BSC is home to the Bronco Fitness Center, The Games Room Etc., student government and a variety of food venues. The facility is operated and maintained by Associated Students, Inc. (or ASI).
