School/Group Tours

The Visitor Center prides itself on helping educate young visitors about the exciting opportunity of higher education. Our tours are designed to not only inform your students about Cal Poly Pomona, but to give them the encouragement and knowledge they need to make their own higher education dreams a reality.

School/Group Tour dates fill up quick.  We do inform all tour groups that they should make their reservation six months in advance.  

Guided campus tours for class field trips are typically scheduled for Thursday and Friday mornings during the academic year (late September to early June). Depending on tour guide availability and the size of your group, other arrangements can sometimes be made.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: The Visitor Center does not offer guided group tours during the summer.

Our office may be able to provide a presentation with a scheduled school/group tour, self-guided tour or scavenger hunt tour.

Teachers/Counselors: The Cal Poly Pomona Visitor & Information Centers provides a lesson plan, written materials, scavenger hunt and review as an educational tool for students to interact and learn about the location of programs and services, give them insight into what it is like to be a Cal Poly Pomona student, and share with them some of Cal Poly Pomona's unique features.

University Holidays

The university will be closed for the following holidays in the fall 2009 quarter. 

Wednesday November 11 in observance of Veterans Day and Thursday November 26 and Friday November 27 in observance of Thanksgiving.
