Amanda D.
I, Amanda D., am a third year Animal Science: pre-vet major here at Cal Poly Pomona.  I was born and raised in La Verne, California where I still call home today.  My life ambition is to become a veterinarian.  Organizations I am involved in on campus include the Pre-vet Club and the Honors College.  Besides giving tours on campus I like to volunteer with animals, I love to ski at Mammoth, go to the theater to see musicals, watch FRIENDS over and over again, and during LOST season Wednesday nights are booked.  I love Cal Poly Pomona and I can't wait to show off its beautiful campus.



Amanda S.
Amanda is a Miramonte High School graduate from Orinda, CA.  She is a third year marketing major emphasizing in entertainment.  Amanda is a member of the Cal Poly Pomona's Track & Field Team and a member of the American Marketing Association.  After graduation Amanda hopes to work in film distribution and marketing for Disney. 


 

Anna
My name is Anna and I was born in the Republic of Georgia where I learned all the four languages that I can speak.  Currently I call Hollywood, Las Vegas, Pomona and sometimes even Berkeley my hometowns.  This is my fourth and final year as an Animal Science student here at Cal Poly Pomona.  I am an active member of the Pre-vet Club as well as the Armenian Student Association (ASA). 




Chris
Chris is from Ramona, California and a graduate of Ramona High School. He is a fourth year student here at Cal Poly Pomona. Chris is a hospitality major with an emphasis in hotel management. He has had an internship with the Omni Hotel in Los Angeles and is currently employed with the Anaheim Marriott.  Also involved in the Phi Kappa Tau fraternity on campus, Chris saves his free time for tours, school work and snowboarding.  To conclude Chris would like to say, "Dream as if you'll live forever; live as if you'll die tomorrow." - James Dean




Cynthia
To everyone out there, my name is Cynthia.  I'm 20 years old and am a third year Hotel and Restaurant Management student.  I love the Collins School of Hospitality and I must admit that I have mad pride for that place.  Soon after graduation I plan to attend the Culinary Institute of America in Napa, California.  It only gets better though, you will most likely see me battling Kat Cora in Iron Chef America.

 


Ella
Hi, my name is Ella and I am a senior Sociology major, with a minor in Political Science.  I am a transfer student from Diablo Valley College in Concord, CA.  I am a very busy bee as I am currently involved in several different activities on our campus.  Besides being a Poly Pathfinder, I am a member of ACCESS (a peer mentor group for the Psychology and Sociology Dept.); I am a research assistant for Dr. Bettina Casad of the Psychology Department; I am in AKD Sociology Honor Society, as well as the Golden Key Honor Society; I am an International Student Volunteer Alumni; and I have recently become a member of JusticeCorps.  I am graduating in Spring 2008 and heading off to law school.  For fun, I love to sing in my car, I am an avid moviegoer, and I love reading self-help books (because you could always improve yourself in healthy ways!).  Be sure to say hi when you see me!




Gabriel
Gabriel is from Oakland, California and a graduate of Berkeley High School, as well as a graduate of a four year, high school business program called Y.E.A.H. at the Haas School of Business (Cal Berkeley's business school).  He is in his third year at Cal Poly and is a theatre major.  He plans to act and produce; he will also be pursuing writing after his college experience.  He will continue to take full advantage of his time at Cal Poly Pomona by staying actively involved on campus as well as in the community.



Heather
Hi everyone!  My name is Heather and I am a fourth year Animal Science/Pre-Vet major.  Along with my role as Poly Pathfinder, I am also currently the Vice President of the Pre-Vet Club and hold office as secretary for Ag Council.  My first two years here at Cal Poly Pomona, I lived in Montecito residential hall and then moved over to the University Village.  When I have free time I enjoy playing my guitar, scrapbooking, and reading.  I love spending time with my friends and making people smile.  I look forward to having the chance to meet you and hope to see you at the Visitor Center soon!




Jenny
Jenny is from Monrovia, California and is a graduate of St. Lucy's Priory High School.  She is in her second year at Cal Poly Pomona earning a degree in Graphic Design and a minor in Art History.  Along with working at the Visitor & Information Centers as a Poly Pathfinder, Jenny also holds a job with ASI GAS Creative Group as a graphic designer.  After college she plans to work in advertising  and begin paying off her college loans!




Jessica
Jessica is from Los Angeles, California and a graduate of Benjamin Franklin High School.  She is in her second year as a student of Cal Poly Pomona and is in the Business Administration with an Accounting track.  This will be her first year working with the Visitor & Information Centers.  So if you have any questions you know where to find her.




Justin
Justin is from Irvine, California and a graduate of University High School.  He is a fourth year student in the Computer Engineering program with heavy involvement in student life.  In addition to being a tour guide, he serves on the student government (Associate Students Inc.) as the Secretary of Education.  When he's not in class, meetings or giving tours, he volunteers for various organizations on campus.  Some of the programs and organizations he has been involved in include the Office of Student Life and Cultural Centers, STOP Violence Office and planning and executing numerous on and off campus events as a student representative.  After graduation, Justin hopes to work in the technology industry designing and manufacturing future digital technologies.  




Kimberly H.
Kimberly, also known as Kimbo, is a fourth year & hopefully a graduating senior.  She is studying Hotel & Restaurant Management with a focus toward Hotel &/or event planning.  She graduated from Pomona Catholic Girls High School and is an active member of Sigma Kappa Sorority on campus. She will also be running the Restaurant at Kellogg Ranch (RKR) winter 2008 so please come and support after your tour and join them for lunch.

Kimberly J.
Kimberly is from Colton, California and a graduate of Rialto High School. She is in her third year as a student at Cal Poly Pomona and is a business/marketing major. She is in her first year at the University Village.  She hopes one day to work in advertising.  She loves going to concerts, relaxing at the beach, and having a good time with friends. 

Kimberly K.
Kimberly is a Fourth year Hotel & Restaurant Management student with an emphasis in Club Management.  She graduated from Rancho Bernardo High School in 2004.  Originally from San Diego, California, her hobbies include going to the beach, playing guitar, dancing, singing, performing, public speaking, and spending time with family.  She is involved in Club Managers Association of America and in Chi Omega Sorority.  She is excited to serve Cal Poly Pomona as a Poly Pathfinder! GO BRONCOS!!! 

Kristi
Kristi is from Covina, California and a graduate of South Hills High School.  She is a returning transfer student majoring in Nutrition with an emphasis in Dietetics.  She hopes to become a Registered Dietitian and teach Nutrition at the college level.  She is currently involved in Food & Nutrition Forum (on campus club) and is on the executive board.  She has a 2 year old daughter, Cameryn Jaina, who fills Kristi's days with smiles! In her spare time she enjoys taking Cameryn on outings and having fun.
